HISTORY

Ch Muhammad Hussain Natt Trust (CMHNT) was established in Islamabad on 3rd April, 2010 under Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 of Pakistan. The trust is the brainchild of Ch. Rashid Mehmood Natt, a well-known biologist, working since 1996 in Al-Shifa Eye Trust Hospital Rawalpindi and has experience of over 14 years in research.
The inspiration came after the death of his father Chaudhry Muhammad Hussain Natt from cancer. Trust has his office at Mandair Plaza, G-8 Markaz Islamabad, in heart of Islamabad located near all major hospitals of Islamabad i.e. PIMS (Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences), NORI Hospital, Polyclinic, CDA Hospital, National Institute of Handicapped (N.I.H) & Shifa International Hospital to help patients coming from rural areas of Punjab, KPK, AJK & Northern Provinces who are unable to pay for expensive Laboratory Tests Fee.
Trust Hospital is situated in center of all those Government Hospitals of Islamabad. Furthermore, no private Blood bank and Eye Bank facilities are available for patients coming for treatment in above mentioned Islamabad hospitals and therefore suffering badly. Only one facility i.e. Pakistan Red Crescent Society (P.R.C.S.) is available but it’s not enough to cater for patients coming to Islamabad for treatment. We are just in middle of all major hospitals of Islamabad if anyone willing to donate cornea we are able to collect cornea.
